Hi Everyone!
If you’re new around here (welcome) you might not know that I spent my pre-author years as a seventh grade language arts teacher.
I LOVED it.
Seriously.
I worked with some of the best people and middle school kids are some of my favorites. When I transitioned from teacher to author, I brought some of my teaching savey with me, and I shared some of that wisdom today over on Robert Kent’s AMAZING blog Middle Grade Ninja.
I used to stalk this blog religiously when I was in the querying trenches, and his agent interviews are priceless. (Also-fun fact. When I was stalking his blog I ACTUALLY LIVED IN THE SAME TOWN WITH HIM! I HAD NO IDEA! MIND. BLOWN. )
Anyways, if you haven’t stumbled upon him yet on your own, you’re welcome.
Having taught my fair share of middle school kids, I like to think I know a thing or two about what to do…or more importantly…what NOT to do when presenting. So pop on over to Middle Grade Ninja and check it out!
